The Book Launch of“Patois and English Folksongs of Trinidad and Tobago”written by Augustus ‘junior’ Howell HBM.
Patois and English Folksongs of Trinidad and Tobago is the author’s contribution to the preservation of our Patois heritage. This book is a compilation of a Textbook and Compact Disc. The Author a distinguish musician and Teacher has included in this offering the music score and a Lesson Plan of teaching the subject matter.
The main benefactors of the material will be Primary and Secondary School, Music Schools, choirs, communities, and organizations.

The official book has launched on Tuesday 29th April 2003, at Heritage Division of The National Library of Trinidad and Tobago, Hart and Abercromby Sts. P.O.S.
The speakers where Dr Cuthbert Joseph, Mr. Victor Prescot Mr.Adolphus Daniell and Miss Jocelyn Sealy. Attendees will be treated to performances by The Clive Zanda Quartet, La petite Musicale,La Petite Juniors and Malick Performers.
